Hardware  wallets are an excellent way to store your bitcoins safely (cold  storage) and to manage them. They are particularly suggested for those  who do not have cold and secure computers. In fact, hardware wallets are  themselves cold and secure computers (even though they are  single-purpose machines built to manage bitcoins safely).

In this website hardware wallets will not be covered for two reasons:

1. The websites of the manufacturers have excellent guides (see quick info above)

2. They  have to be used in conjunction with a wallet software (e.g. Electrum)  in a computer (the computer doesn't need to be cold and secure for  security, but it should be secure for privacy). Therefore, it is still  necessary to learn everything that is illustrated in this course.
